Below, We have listed some general Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) concerning the entire process in order to answer any questions you might have or to aid in your understanding of the process.

Currently in our store, we have a variety of lighting items including Compact Fluorescents, Dimmabe CFLs, Lamps, LED Lighting, Plug-In Fluorescents, Exit & Emergency, and Outdoor Lighting. We also have a listing of all the various brands we carry. We will be adding many new and exciting products to our site so please visit often.

Our FAQ Section is broken into the following topics:

1. How do I Find A Product?
You may do a search for the product by submitting its manufacturer's part number, manufacturer's name or a specific quality about the product. If the search does not find the product, please call or email ussales@energy-superstore.comand let us know so we may determine if there is a problem or we may add that item to our store.

2. How Do I Search Your Website?
A search textbox is located on each page of our website. Place the text (see FAQ 1 for examples to use) in the text box and click on SEARCH. If results can not be found, a "e;No Items to Display"e; is shown. If results are found, they are displayed in the Search Results page. Note your search criteria is also displayed.

3. How are the products listed?
All products are categorized for easy review. After a category is selected, a subcategory is listed. Upon selection of a subcategory, the products are listed by Part Number.

4. How do I purchase a product?
Select the product by clicking on it and the View Item Page will be displayed. Note that the item and it's details will be displayed for your review. By entering the quantity and pressing 'ADD TO CART."e; A quick pop up window will appear and notify you that you have added an item to your shopping cart. When you are done adding products to your cart you can hit checkout and place your order.

Note Our Price is given for your review. Also notice that you may request to purchase more than one of that particular product.

Step 1 of 5. Start the process by entering an user id (i.e email address) and password (see Why Do I Have An ID and Password) and the system will display your current information, billing address, and shipping address. Please review this information. If you do not have an account with us, review the How Do I set Up an Account section.

Step 2 of 5 .After accepting the information, press the Continue button to enter the automatic UPS shipping calculator based upon weight of the product(s). Note you will have the choice of either ground or air shipping. If the shipping is greater than what can be calculated, you will be instructed to call the store 214-884-1162 to receive the shipping total. Please note that even without shipping costs, you may continue to order the product(s) but a shipping charge may be assessed before actual shipment of the product.

Note: There is a flat rate of shipping of 5.99 for all domestic orders. All international orders are exluded for the flat rate shipping charge.

Step 3 of 5.allows for the submission of additional Discount Codes and / or Comments. The Discount Codes will be used thoughtout the year so visitwww.energy-superstore.comoften. The additonal comments will be written on the Invoice and the content is strickly for you.

Step 4 of 5 allows you to review the order. You may cancel here or continue by pressing Checkout to enter the payment process.

Step 5 of 5 creates an Order Number and requests you to continue to Payment. Please note the Order Number since this number is our tracking reference.

Pressing Continue to Payment, you are guided to a secure site that allows you to select your Method of Credit Card Payment (ie. Visa, Master card, Discover, or American Express). Please enter your credit card number and expiration date after reviewing all the information on the page.

Pressing the Submit Transaction button secures the purchase and you will receive an email detailing the transaction. You may also print the Receipt Page for you records. Expect delivery within 5 to 7 business days unless otherwise noted via email from Energy Superstore. Please return to Energy Superstore by pressing the link Return to Energy Superstore. Note that by returning to the store, your shopping basket is empty.

5. Why do I have to have an id and password? What if I forget my password?
Accounts are setup so that once a person is registered, that person can purchase all of the items offered on the Energy Superstore. It also makes follow up and additional purchases faster and easier. Registration is free and, if a password is forgotten, simplely press the Forgot Password link to receive an email displaying your password.

You also have the ability to review orders (See How Do I Check on My Orders FAQ 8) via the Order Tracking Link, change personal information including your password via the Modify User Data link found by logging into Store -> Utilities Menu.

6. How Do I Set Up an Account?
Accounts are setup so that once a person is registered, that person may purchase and review purchases. To set up an account, simply enter the Store -> Log In Menu. A Customer Login form will require an Email address and password. If you are not registered, click on the 'Not a member? Register Here' link and follow the directions. Please note several fields are required and a temporary password is given.

7. Is my information safe?
Energy Superstore provides two levels of protection. First, access to the servers that store your information is limited to those Energy Superstore employees with a need to know the information. Second, Energy Superstore servers use security measures to prevent unauthorized access. Energy Superstore is committed to the responsible use of the World Wide Web. Energy Superstore reserves the right to change or amend this policy from time to time, but will post any such changes on this site.

8. What will I receive after completing the process?
After purchasing the product(s), You will immediately receive an email detailing the purchase titled Energy Superstore Customer Receipt/Purchase Confirmation containing all the sales and billing information. Included in that information is an Invoice number that can be used to track the order by logging into the Energy SuperstoreWebsite and reviewing the order.

9. How do I check on my order? Will anyone notify me?
Logging into the Energy Superstore Website, you can review the order:

Note the status of the order is

  • IN PROGRESS - order entry (Order Open)
  • SHIPPING- shipped product from warehouse
  • COMPLETE- product has been received by customer (Order Closed)
  • CALL- problem has occured. Customer should have received an email detailing situation

Note the order will be removed from the status page 1 week from complete. If you have a question at any time, please call us at 214-884-1162 or email us atsales@energy-superstore.comYou will be notified first after purchase and second when product is shipped.

10. How long will it take to receive my order?
Typically 5 to 7 business days after your purchase. If this is not the case, you will receive an email stating the new shipping schedule. At all times you will have direct contact to our Energy Superstore Customer Service agents.

11. What if I am not satisfied or the product is damaged?
We at Energy Superstore are proud of our 100% Customer Satisfaction policy and have been in the lighting business for almost 40 years. In the event you are not entirely satisfied with you purchase, please call us at 214-884-1162 or email us atsales@energy-superstore.comand let us resolve the problem.

12. Can I go anywhere to physically see the product before purchase?
